On the crisis of the biggest pandemic of this century, team Anushongik stepped up to cater the daily services of providing food, oxygen, medicine, and necessary guidance to the ailing and sufferers.
The idea of contributing back to society in terms of sustainable and long-term development has always thrived us. From this vision, the journey of the ‘Sopaan’ project initiated its journey in 2022. The name of the Project speaks for itself. The Bengali word “SOPAAN” means stairways, in this context, we should say ‘stairways to transformation. Our motto is to make a difference in society by providing basic education to socio-economically backward students. It is our duty to extend the support to get a platform to showcase their talents in the professional world and become successful individuals.
Currently, we are operating at two different venues and more than 100 students are getting benefited from these projects. Please find below details:

Not only the students but also local teachers and coordinators are appointed by ‘Anushongik’ and get monthly remunerations and exposure to professionalism.

Distributed necessities like clothes, tarpaulin, groceries, bleaching powder, medicines to the cyclone affected nearly 200 families in multiple areas of North & South 24 Parganas in West Bengal in May 2020.
Distribution of study materials - school bags, notebook, pen, pencil, eraser, sharpeners, pencil box to nearly 20 children who were affected by fire accident near Bengal Chemical, Bypass
Started a study center with nearly 12 needy children. One young lady, who lost her parents recently and had been studying Engineering, used to teach the children. 'Anushongik' provided monthly renumeration to the teacher.
On the occasion of auspicious Eid we pray for peace and harmony for everyone. With the help of our friends at Bhagwangola (Mushirdabad WB), we tried to help few families who are less privileged. Rations, fruits, rice and other raw materials were distributed among 25 families.
